Georgia Hitch (Class of 2010) emcee’s the Parent session – `Yes, No, Maybe? Let’s Talk about Consent at Radford College
On the 27 May, Georgia returned to the College to emcee the Parent Session held on `Yes, No, Maybe? Let’s Talk about Consent.
Georgia Hitch (Class of 2010) works for the ABC as a multi-platform journalist. Georgia currently reports for ABC news across television radio and online and has also completed secondments at ABC Audio Current Affairs covering federal politics, and youth affairs at Triple J’s Hack program.
On the 27 May, Georgia returned to the College to emcee the `Yes, No, Maybe? Let’s Talk about Consent at Radford College. Georgia was joined alongside Kate Halloran, a specialist child protection practitioner with nearly two decades’ experience, and Tim Bavinton, Executive Director, Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT).
Whilst at Radford, Georgia was involved in many community organisations such as the 40 Hour Famine, L’Arche, Relay for Life, Youth in the City and White Ribbon Day (that she organised). Georgia holds a Bachelor degree for the University of Sydney in Communications and Media Studies.
