Finn Maguire (Class of 2020) awarded prestigious Fulbright Scholarship

The Radford Collegians is proud to congratulate Collegian Finn Maguire (Class of 2020) on being awarded the prestigious Fulbright Program Scholarship.

Finn will undertake a Master of Public Administration at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs in New York, where he will focus on technology policy and innovation. His studies will explore how technology and policy can work together to strengthen disaster mitigation and better protect communities.

“Disaster mitigation is an increasingly important field and through my postgraduate studies at Columbia University I hope to explore how we can use technology and policy more effectively to protect communities when it matters most,” Finn shared.

From participating in international exchanges across Asia to gaining hands-on experience in emergency management, Finn’s journey reflects a deep commitment to applying knowledge for real-world impact. His work sits at the intersection of innovation and public service an area of growing importance in an increasingly complex global landscape.

Finn’s achievement is a testament to his dedication, curiosity and desire to contribute meaningfully to society. The Radford community looks forward to following his journey and the impact of his work in the years ahead.
