Alex and Scott Wrigley (Class of 2006) recognised on the national stage

Radford Collegians Scott Wrigley and Alex Wrigley (Class of 2006) are celebrating an outstanding achievement, with their business, ACT Certification Services Pty Ltd, named Winner of the Professional Services category at the prestigious Australian Small Business Champion Awards.

Now in its 28th year, the Awards attracted more than 8,500 entries from across the country, with winners announced at a national gala event at The Star Sydney. This recognition reflects the team’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and delivering genuine value to clients and the broader construction industry.

A family-owned and operated business, ACT Certification has been led by Scott and Alex for more than a decade. What began as a one-person operation has grown into a team of 11 professionals supporting building approvals across the ACT and surrounding NSW regions. Despite this growth, their focus has remained consistent, providing practical, reliable guidance while building strong, lasting relationships with clients and industry partners.

Their approach to certification combines technical expertise with real-world construction knowledge, underpinned by a strong emphasis on education and support. They are passionate about reshaping perceptions of building certifiers from purely regulatory roles to trusted partners in the construction process prioritising clear communication, accountability, and ongoing support.
