An incredible achievement – Trent Clews-De Castella (Class of 2007)

REWILD Our Planet is a project that saw the PHORIA team nominated for a Webby award alongside some groundbreaking AR experiences. A Webby award is the "internet's highest honor" (New York Times).

Trent Clews-De Castella is the co founder and CEO of PHORIA, a world leading immersive tech studio that specialising in cutting-edge Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality (VR/AR/MR/XR) technology.

PHORIA creates powerful user interactions and social experiences, all with the goal to generate a positive impact on the world.

Trent shared that the PHORIA team had such a blast co-creating the REWILD Our Planet project with Netflix, Google, WWF and so many awesome humans! The project saw PHORIA nominated for a Webby award alongside some groundbreaking AR experiences. A Webby award is the “internet’s highest honor” (New York Times).

Last month REWILD Our planet was officially a Webbys Winner and People Voice Winner in Best Use of Augmented Reality!

Trent said, “We had the pleasure of launching this great experience in three cities back in 2019, however, now we are working hard to open up this experience far and wide for everyone to enjoy in their living room”.
