At 25 years old, Anna Flanagan has achieved a lot in her career in sport, she was the first Australian Hockey player to be sponsored by Redbull and Nike, has her own hockey stick line, and helped Australia win Commonwealth Games gold at her debut international tournament in 2010, and again in 2014.

However, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Anna. But after a rocky 2016, which saw the former Hockeyroo break from the sport, Anna is rediscovering her passions.

Time away from the spotlight has allowed Anna to focus on her career at Fox Sports, and find a hockey-life balance. The break has also fueled her desire to earn back a spot in the Hockeyroos squad, and draw on her experience and life lessons as motivation to get back in the game and win gold for Australia.
