The Inagural Radford Ball was a great success – we can not wait for the next one!
Many collegians were spotted having a fantastic time at the Inaugural Radford Ball.
The inaugural Radford Gala Ball was a fantastic celebration bringing together a broad cross section of the wider Radford community. Attendees included current parents and carers, staff, past students and more. The Ball was presented by the Parents and Friends Association and held at Hotel Realm.
The formalities included a speech by Principal Fiona Godfrey who spoke about the history of Radford and noted that as the College enters its 35th year it does so with a maturity that comers with “middle age”. The crowd were not so pleased with 35 being classed as middle aged and I suspect this just ensured they all made the most of their night. The Baker Boys Band was upbeat and the dance floor lively! Many going on to Ostani’s afterwards to continue their celebrations.
Collegians from the class of 89 formed the biggest collegian contingent! And squished into the photo booth for some great pictures of a fun filled night. Can you also spot the ‘old’ Radford tie!
The photo booth captured the atmosphere perfectly! Who can you spot?
The feedback from those who attended the Ball was overwhelmingly positive and many have called for the ball to become a regular feature on the social calendar as a community building and friend raising event.
