Radford College celebrates the return of the Classes of 1996, 2006 and 2016

The afternoon brought together former students from across the decades to reconnect with old friends, share memories and celebrate their ongoing relationship with the College. Guests enjoyed the opportunity to revisit familiar spaces, reflect on their time at Radford and see how the College continues to grow and thrive.

The strong attendance demonstrated the vitality of the Radford Collegians network and the meaningful connections that continue long after graduation. From recent graduates to alumni who had not visited campus for many years, the event was a wonderful reminder that Radford remains a place that alumni proudly call home.

One of the afternoon’s special moments came as Brant and Dimity (Class of 1996) returned to campus with their daughter, Amelie, who is a current Radford student. Amelie had the pleasure of assisting members of the Class of 1996 with a guided tour of the College, providing a unique perspective on life at Radford today while showcasing how the school has evolved since her parents’ time as students. It was a wonderful example of the intergenerational connections that make the Radford community so special and a reminder that the College’s story continues across generations of families.

A special thank you is extended to our 2026 Community Captains, Caela and Simon, who assisted throughout the event and helped create a welcoming experience for returning alumni. We also gratefully acknowledge the support of the Parents & Friends Association, whose volunteers generously served drinks and provided warm hospitality throughout the afternoon.

Community Engagement Manager, Monique Glavonjic, thanked attendees for their ongoing engagement with the College.
