Life After Radford: Collegians share their journeys with Year 11 students

Posted 23 Sep, 2025

Year 11 students recently took part in a special Life After Radford session, where four Radford Collegians Yersheena O’Donoghue (Class of 1998), Tristan Maddigan (Class of 1999), Bri Williams (Class of 2012) and Annie Ioannou (Class of 2012) returned to share their diverse journeys since graduating.

The panel highlighted the many directions life can take after school. Each of the collegians spoke candidly about the challenges, opportunities, and unexpected turns that have shaped their paths. From university studies and career shifts to travel, entrepreneurship, and community service, their stories offered students valuable insights into the many possibilities that lie ahead.

A common thread across the discussion was reassurance: there is no single “right” pathway after Radford. Instead, success often comes from staying curious, working hard, and being open to new experiences.

The Year 11 students engaged with thoughtful questions and appreciated the practical advice and encouragement offered by the Collegians.

We are grateful to our Collegians for taking the time to return and invest in the next generation of Radford graduates.

Their wisdom and honesty gave students not only guidance but also confidence as they prepare to take their next steps.
