Growing up, Georgia Wemyss thought she’d work in international relations, but her life has taken a slightly different turn.

“I am a teacher of Japanese and French now but I have had an interesting 15 years in Australia-Japan relations prior to this, as well as dabbling in my own small business for a few years too. My business on this directory is Elysian Landscapes where my husband and I are the owners and operators,” Georgia said.

How easy was it for Georgia to decide what she wanted to do in life?

“I still haven’t really figured it out and am leaving doors open wherever possible!”

Georgia has some sage advice for current students:

“Keep your options open. Even if you know what you want to do, it is often really cool to wander down untrod paths as well… I still am, and love it!”
