What does life look for you now?
Working in finance at a law firm in Southern California. Married with 2 kids. Going to Disneyland every year. My parents live in Canada in Ontario so we visit them when we can.
What is your favourite Radford moment?
What left Year 9 camp. I've never experienced anything like it since. People here can't believe that grade 9 students would be mature enough to attempt something like that. Hiking in the bush taught me a lot about myself and others in my classes. A great way to break the ice in year 9!
Do you have a particular role model or inspirational figure from Radford or now?
Mr H, Mr Rose and Mr Foulcher directing me in the Good Woman of Szechuan.
Remember those gold lame suits?????
I wish I still had the pic of me in a learing pose. I recall Mr Foulcher kept it on the wall in his office for a while. I think it only exists in an old yearbook now.
What do you know now, that you wish you'd known when you were at Radford?
When I look back at the experiences I had at Radford e.g. theatre, sports, art, music, and high quality academics (of course!), I am most grateful to have been exposed to high quality teachers who were willing to go the extra mile for us in so many ways. Schools have cut back on so many programs e.g. art, music, phys ed etc in recent years and it's made me realize the importance of a well rounded education.
Anything else that you would like to share?
