What does life look for you now?

I have been living in Berlin for the past 12 months, working, travelling, and playing handball. I am a UC Marketing Graduate.

What is your favourite Radford moment?

It's not a single memory but I am certainly most grateful for the relationships I formed at Radford, both with my classmates and my teachers. I wouldn't be who I am today if it weren't for the support, guidance, and friendship I found in my teachers. Some of my favourite specific memories include mock trial in senior school with Ms Gregory, year 9 camp, being involved in Dirrum Dirrum, and the G trips.

How easy was it to decide what to do in life?

Not easy at all and I still don't have an answer! I am a classic jack of all trades and master of none, so trying to choose one thing to pursue was never easy. Figuring out what to do with my life will be a life long pursuit. During school and my first year of uni, I was often stressed that I didn't have a plan but these days I think I am more open to whatever opportunities I find.

Did your further study or career go exactly as you'd planned?

My studies didn't go as planned at all. I changed my mind (and degree) three times. While it might have been easier if I knew from the get-go what I wanted to do and stuck with it, I've learnt a lot along the way and I wouldn't have changed a thing. As for my career, I have been working in the superannuation industry for almost three years which I never would have expected. And in terms of where my career goes from here, I really think it could be anywhere. Sometimes it feels like a blessing and other times a curse, but I have always been interested in so many things. Sometimes this makes decision making hard but it also means every opportunity is exciting.

What do you know now, that you wish you'd known when you were at Radford?

I wish I had of known that I didn't have to have it all planned out. I also wish I had of known that you shouldn't study something just because you got the ATAR for it. I think it is important to remember that the breadth of opportunities at university is so much bigger than at school. It can be hard to narrow down your path and I think that I would have given myself more time to try different things early on. I realise that there is no rush.

Where are you now?
