What does life look for you now?

Leaving Canberra and moving to Germany at the beginning of high school obviously had a big impact on my life. But we settled in quite well and quickly found new friends in a fundamentally different culture. Germany is a beautiful country with bright prospects, but of course I still miss Australia and the Aussie way of life. Talking about school life I always cherished Mr. Huitkers Drama classes and assignments, which after all might be regarded as a first step on the way to my current profession. :)

Nowadays I work in Event Engineering specialized on Lighting and Lighting Design.
As a Project Manager or Technical Director I design and plan lighting rigs for corporate events, trade fairs, concerts, theaters and musicals.

When you were young, what were you hoping to be when you grew up?

As most boys I also pursued the dream of becoming a construction worker, firefighter and jet pilot. Eventually these options only worked out in a metaphorical sense...

What is your favourite Radford moment?

Year 7 Camp

Do you have a particular role model or inspirational figure from Radford or now?

Neither role model nor inspirational figure, but Mr. Leyshons sinister expression definitely scared the **** out of me during his daily patrols. :)

Anything else that you would like to share?

Radford is a brilliant school with outstanding and highly dedicated staff. Even though I only got to spend part of year 7 at Radford, due to a relocation to Germany, it was an incredibly inspirational experience I don't want to miss. Thank you!

Where are you now?
