Tell us what you are passionate about?

I volunteer with a group that helps refugees and new migrants practice their English speaking skills. I find that it is very rewarding work and consider it a privilege to have met so many resilient people from all the different corners of the world.

When you were young, what were you hoping to be when you grew up?

A doctor! I’ll be graduating in less than 12 months - I’m pretty proud of my self and incredibly grateful for all the support I’ve had to get there.

What is your favourite Radford moment?

Year 9 camp was definitely up there.

Do you have a particular role model or inspirational figure from Radford or now?

George Huitker taught me the importance of service and how to go about it the right way.

How easy was it to decide what to do in life?

I am one of those lucky few people who always knew that medicine was what I wanted to do.
With time I have realised that even if it hadn’t worked out there would have been plenty of alternatives careers that I would have found equally enjoyable and rewarding however. Probably teaching!

What advice do you have for current students?

Do as much co-curricular as possible!! There’s a million ways to get into and pursue further study down the track. Travel the world after school if you can too.

Where are you now?
