What does life look for you now?

I worked in hospitality.
Drove a desk for 11 years.
And now am the proud owner of Dark Carnival martial arts.

I live in Canberra with my partner, and we love travelling when we can get time off together.

Tell us what you are passionate about?

I am passionate about what I do everyday.I have the opportunity to directly impact on people and their lives. From kids ages 3+ to octagenarians. It is amazing.

When you were young, what were you hoping to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to do exactly what I am doing now.Helping people.I just didn't know what that would look like.

What is your favourite Radford moment?

Loved PE and the sports carnivals :)

Do you have a particular role model or inspirational figure from Radford or now?

I have role models now.
When I was young, I chose poor role models.
As an adult, I choose those who are making a difference in their own lives let alone others.

How easy was it to decide what to do in life?

It wasn't.
Far from it in fact.

There is constant pressure and input from all directions.
Family, school, friends.

To find that one thing you are passionate about, that is fulfilling is the goal.

Did your further study or career go exactly as you'd planned?

I was always good at physical endeavours, so I guess yes.

My business acuity was learned and earned over time.

What do you know now, that you wish you'd known when you were at Radford?

That you are at school to learn how to learn.
That everything that happens in school, is on one hand instrumental in your growth and development, and in the other, it is inconsequential as when you leave that school, that famy, those friends, that there is a greater world out there that you can mould yourself into whatever you want.

What advice do you have for current students?

Hard Work Pays Off.
(HWPO).

Have a great work ethic.
Curb procrastination.
Be a good human.

Anything else that you would like to share?

Humans are humans.
People are people.

The people that guide you right now at school and home are trying their best given their experiences.

However, this does not mean they are 100% right.
Nor does this mean you are.

It is all a matter of perspective, that if you can learn this early, will set you in a course for lifelong growth.

Where are you now?
