What does life look for you now?
In October 2016 I completed my Honours (First Class) in Political Science at the Australian National University, writing on campaign finance and institutional leadership in the US Congress. I received the Chancellor's Letter of Commendation for achieving a Grade Point Average of 7 over the academic year. In 2015 I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy at the same university.
Besides my passion for Australian politics, I have a strong interest in US politics and undertook a one-semester Legislative Internship with the US Congress in Washington DC.
In 2014 I participated in the ANU international exchange program, studying Government and Political Philosophy at The University of Texas in Austin.
During my studies I have gained experience working part-time at a consultancy firm specialising in agricultural industries and completed an internship at the Australian Parliament where I produced a major research report on secondary school outcomes for Indigenous students.
I have now taken up a job as Policy and Business Analyst in Barton Deakin’s Canberra office I support the company’s directors with policy, political, legislative, legal and economic analysis.
