What does life look for you now?
I am back in Canberra with a young family, after working in Melbourne, London and Sydney. I work as an innovation consultant, helping organisations launch new ventures, deal with change and reinvent themselves.
Its a bit of a weird career that I stumbled into after doing management consulting, investing at a family office, being a part of a venture capital funded scale-up, and launching new companies from within large public companies in the UK and EU.
How easy was it to decide what to do in life?
Not at all! But my advice is to try different things, and speak to as many people as you can doing something you are interested in. It's hard to really know what a profession is like until you try it.
What do you know now, that you wish you'd known when you were at Radford?
Many of the things that surround life at Radford, that aren't the formal academic learning, have been the most valuable parts of the wholistic education you gain at Radford.
What advice do you have for current students?
Explore, experiment and treasure the connections you will make.
