Canberra Fires
Canberra Fires
Every firefighter knows that they are always susceptible to this type of tragedy. They go to work every day knowing that they are doing something so positive and for that we are so grateful.
No one should be thanked more than our very brave men and women who continue to display acts of courage on a daily basis, placing their lives on the line to save people and wildlife in the most dangerous of situations.
Glen Purdam and Lym Garratt (Class of 2005) are currently fighting the fires near Canberra . Glen is flying the SEAT bomber 223 (pictured) and Lym is in a RAFT crew.
Glen has kindly shared these images and acknowledges that he knows a lot of firefighters and volunteers amongst our Radford community that are doing exactly the same thing at the moment.
Thank you to every single one of you!
