Loulou Moxom, Class of 1989 creates floral magic for Prime Minister’s Wedding

Posted 02 Dec, 2025

The Radford community is celebrating an extraordinary achievement by one of our own. Radford Collegian Loulou Moxom (nee Rawlins, Class of 1989) co-founder of Canberra’s renowned floral studio Moxom & Whitney, was recently entrusted with creating the floral arrangements for the wedding of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

Loulou says she had no clue she had played a crucial role in the Prime Ministers special day until the official wedding photos were released to the public.

“It was shock and pride,” Loulou said.

“I haven’t stopped smiling.”

Loulou was told the flowers were needed for a small backyard wedding, with no indication she was arranging blooms for the nation’s leader.

Known for her artistic flair, creative boldness and deep passion for storytelling through flowers, Loulou brought her signature style to one of the nation’s most high-profile celebrations. Her work—thoughtfully curated, elegant and full of character—perfectly reflected the warmth and joy of the occasion.

Loulou’s remarkable contribution is a proud moment not only for her business, but for the entire Radford Collegians community. Her success highlights the talent, innovation and professionalism that so many of our alumni bring to their fields.

Congratulations, Loulou, on this incredible honour. The Radford community celebrates with you and looks forward to seeing where your creativity blooms next.
