What does life look for you now?
Family is Canberra and I am in Sydney.
My sister Kelsey Davis is in New York studying for the New York bar.
Hobbies, going out for brunches and the gym.
Did your further study or career go exactly as you'd planned?
No it didn’t. I was looking at a plan of hospitality and in particular hotels, and ended up at a bank head office.
The career path that I am on is still the same path, just a different neighbourhood as I am still looking after people, however I have changed from hotel guests to stakeholders within the business and externally.
It’s interesting as the guest speaker from my graduation of a bachelor of business in hotel management was a previous graduate of the university however found her way into the banking industry.
She spoke about how the skills we learnt in the degree and in life are so transferable into other industries. We just needed to be brave enough when the opportunity arrises.
