Life beyond Radford

After finishing Radford I started a science degree at the ANU. I majored in Ecology & Evolution and Zoology. In my final year I did a half year project on bird communication and decided I didn't want to do honours. I started working in the Science department at ANU doing recruitment, communication and marketing. A year later I joined the Circus - the Shell Questacon Science Circus. I spent a year completing a Masters degree in science communication, with three months travelling Australia presenting science shows in schools. After finishing this I landed a job at Geoscience Australia (a Government department) doing education and events (including the annual Open Day). I have been at Geoscience Australia ever since.

During this time I also met my husband (who coincidentally also went to Radford, but was a few years ahead of me) and we have recently had a baby.
