What does life look for you now?
I'm the pastor of a small community church in Kaleen, Canberra. I got married in 2005 and my wife Jess and I have three young children. My work is a mixture of pastoring, celebrancy, counselling, teaching and public speaking.
Tell us what you are passionate about?
I'm lucky as I work in an environment that I love with people that I cherish. I also enjoy photography, camping and coffee.
When you were young, what were you hoping to be when you grew up?
Since I was a teenager I really wanted to be in Christian ministry. I was the religious nutter in my year group. I've calmed down a fair bit since then and have been lucky enough to end up living out much of the life I had hoped for at that time.
What is your favourite Radford moment?
Gosh, year 9 camp... and the many musicals and drama productions I was a part of are definitely fond memories.
Did your further study or career go exactly as you'd planned?
Not really, I did a four year degree in a field totally unrelated to ministry yet still managed to end up working as a pastor before I even finished. Ultimately though, education opens lots of opportunities and I don't regret any of my studies.
What advice do you have for current students?
Be kind to each other and always express gratitude for what you have.
