Quick thinking response to an industry crisis…

No Biggie was created in a quick-thinking response to an industry crisis. Designed as a lifeline for hospitality and a support network for the community seeking a way to care for their favourite venues, as well as providing ready-to-eat meals in a time of supermarket chaos.

No Biggie was created in a quick-thinking response to an industry crisis. Tristan Maddigan (Class of 1999) and Phil Trenbath (Class o 2004) added that while they are foodies, this model is about essential meals and simple survival tactic for venues.

No Biggie was designed as a lifeline for hospitality and a support network for the community seeking a way to care for their favourite venues, as well as providing ready-to-eat meals in a time of supermarket chaos. By providing fresh, local and long-lasting items, No Biggie encourages you as a member of the community to support your local venue with the ability to create jobs, great food and ultimately keep businesses running.

Phil shared that in the first three days of operation, the venues signed up to No Biggie produced 2000 meals for Canberrans, an incredible effort from the venues on how quickly they needed to adapt to this new way of service and delivering food.

Well done Tristan and Phil on a wonderful initiative that is keeping the hospitality industry running.
